Ludmila Ritz

I want the reader to know that they’re not alone in their life journey, that through certain challenges you can still persevere and overcome.

Nim Stant: Hi everyone. Welcome to the Global Thought Leader tv. My name is Nim Stan. I’m your host, and today it’s such a pleasure and honor to welcome Lu Miller Res, the International Impact Book Award. winning author of the book, A Single Desperate Prayer and Memoir, and you won a category for autobiography. All right, Ludmilla, thank you so much for being here and congratulations for winning our award.

Ludmila Ritz: Thank you, Nim.

Nim Stant: Share with us a little bit about your immigrant story.

Ludmila Ritz: Of course. In 2002, I was adopted by an American family and brought to the United States at 14 years old. And so aside from a lot of immigrants who came here to become citizens, for me it was a little bit easier because it was through adoption.

Nim Stant: Yeah.

Ludmila Ritz: And that’s how I ended up being in America.

Nim Stant: How was life in America? Since then,

Ludmila Ritz: when I first arrived, it was very challenging ’cause I didn’t speak any English and I didn’t know the culture or anything like that. So it was very challenging, to say the least. To be honest. It was very difficult.

Nim Stant: Mm-Hmm,

And how is like going to school, adjusting with, you know, friends and community?

Ludmila Ritz: Well, I, um, I didn’t know any English, so when I went to school, I went to sixth grade at fourteen years old. Because back in Crimea, I only went as far as education as a second grader. And that was also very challenging because there was so much schooling that was ahead of me.

When I persevered and I made it and I graduated at 21, but nevertheless I still graduated.

Nim Stant: You make it through.

Ludmila Ritz: I made it. I made it. Absolutely.

Nim Stant: What is your inspiration of writing this book and you can, can you share with us your book a little bit?

Ludmila Ritz: This is my memoir. Um, my most inspiration for this memoir was to, um, inspire other people to show them that we are very resilient as human beings.

You know, God gave us that potential. To express and I really wanted to show people that it’s important to reflect that we are very resilient and even through many challenges that we face, we are able to persevere and push through.

Nim Stant: What does resilient mean for you?

Ludmila Ritz: It means, uh, to have faith. To believe in God and to know that even though in the midst of the most challenging times, you know, you push through and keep moving forward.

You know, and as your book says, go all in, punch fear in the face. And so, uh, I would say that’s, that’s kind of what the deal is. You gotta kind of punch fear in the face and keep moving forward.

Nim Stant: So, who are your target audience for this book?

Ludmila Ritz: It’s a wide audience, um, especially, I would say, those who are seeking for, uh, to dream in miracles.

I believe that most of us who have faith, we don’t believe that we deserve miracles, um, but we do, and it doesn’t matter what background you come from, you can still witness a miracle and dream it in.

Nim Stant: How is your conversation with God each day?

Ludmila Ritz: I’m always talking to God. I’m always talking to God whether I’m in the car, whether after I’m eating or before I’m eating.

I’m always aware and conscious that God is always with me and in my heart. And, uh, witnessing my own miracle, it certainly helps to, um, know God more and more each day. Because it’s through experience, I believe, that we get to know God bigger and bigger.

Nim Stant: You have absolute beautiful soul inside you. I can see it from your beautiful eyes.

I can feel it from your energy. Can you share with us very quick of what is the biggest takeaway for everyone who reading this book? What is your goal and your vision for the reader?

Ludmila Ritz: I want the reader to know that they’re not alone in their life journey, that through certain challenges you can still persevere and overcome.

And, uh, I know that sometimes saying challenges, challenges can be an understatement because life can be so harsh. Mm. But it’s, uh, it’s possible because my book is a testament to that. That, uh, you’re not alone in your hardships and that it’s possible as an immigrant to persevere and have the life you deserve and want 100%.

Nim Stant: This is what I love about my work is to bring out like yourself, who has that mission, that life mission to inspire other people and to transform and to change life. Congratulations, Ludmila. And how can our audience reach out to you?

Ludmila Ritz: I have a website. It’s called ludmilaritz. com and my memoir is available on Amazon in all formats.

Nim Stant: That’s wonderful. Keep writing. Keep sharing your message. You have a powerful message. Thank you so much for being here. Thank you so much. Thank you.

Ludmila Ritz: Thank you.
